If you prefer cleaning products without fragrance, discuss that preference before your appointment. Naming the products or labels you want to avoid gives the team more useful information than simply requesting a “natural” clean.
Tell the company which products or fragrances you prefer to avoid and ask which alternatives can be accommodated. Confirm the arrangement before booking rather than assuming it is part of every service.
What information is useful?
- Your preference for fragrance-free products.
- Any product you already use successfully and its intended surfaces.
- Care instructions for delicate finishes.
- Whether you want the team to use supplied products or discuss its own options.
- How the agreed preference will be recorded for future appointments.
What does fragrance-free certification mean?
EPA offers a Fragrance-Free Safer Choice label for qualifying products. Look at the actual product label and ingredients rather than relying on a green package, a pleasant smell, or an undefined promotional phrase.
Can a product preference replace surface instructions?
No. A product still needs to be appropriate for the material being cleaned and used according to its directions. Explain concerns about wood, stone, flooring, and other finishes before the team begins.
Will Mrs. Clean accommodate my request?
Ask the team to confirm the available options for your visit. Product preferences, supplies, and any effect on the cleaning scope should be discussed during the quote conversation. No universal fragrance-free or certification claim is being made here.
